Now and then you probably receive research questions from your client that cannot be covered by online panel research. The reasons for this might be diverse. For example, the requested target population is not or not in sufficient numbers available within online populations. Because of that it is impossible to supply your client with a valid net sample. Or even the requested net sample is simply not achievable.

This phenomenon especially holds for B2B research questions: when it concerns specific job positions or professionals working within specific branches. The right decision maker is often not represented within online panels.

In that case, data collection done by phone is the only trustworthy and validated method to conduct Business to Business research. Because: by means of telephone research amongst business target groups, the total population of businesses within a specific country becomes approachable. Therefore, sufficient interviews within specific target populations can be achieved by telephone research and a reliable research process is guaranteed.
